Connect. Grow. Celebrate.
At 1st Way Life Center, you’re not alone—and our events are a great way to build friendships, learn new things, and enjoy time with others who understand your journey. Whether you’re expecting your first baby or already parenting, you’re invited to join in!
Our events are free for clients and often include childcare, refreshments, and giveaways. Whether you want to learn, celebrate, or just feel connected—we’d love to see you there! These events are separate from our Parents’ Group meetings. For more information on our Parents’ Group, click here.
Client Events
These free events often include fun family activities, helpful parenting topics, encouragement, and friendship with other parents (and grandparents, too!) who understand what you’re going through. You’re always welcome to bring your children with! Plus, every time you attend you earn $3 Mommy Dollars that can be used in our Baby Boutique!
You must RSVP to attend a Client Event by calling our office at 815-385-2999. Space is limited and we need to be able to ensure we have enough refreshments and supplies for those attending.

Puppet Show – Saturday, June 27th @ 10am at 1st Way
Splash into Summer – Monday, June 29th from 11am-2pm at Fort McHenry
Teddy Bear Picnic – Wednesday, July 8th from 1:30-2:30pm at 1st Way
